LIKE a pinball, a RM2mil car slammed into a road barrier and a lamp post after its driver lost control of the vehicle during a test drive

It is believed that the driver, who was with his friend - both in their 30s - was driving the Ferrari F430 on the KL International Airport highway when the accident occurred near a toll plaze at 5.30pm on Friday recently

Sepang OCPD said the car was being driven at a high speed prior to the accident.

“Luckily, both men survived with minor injuries,” he said.

He added that no one had lodged a police report regarding the accident.

A DARING dresser whose skimpy outfits have seen her refused entry at top city nightspots says she is being treated unfairly.

Lisa Woodman cannot understand why her choice of dancewear does not meet with the approval of nightclub bosses.

The full-time mother-of-four says she only gets to let her hair down once a fortnight – usually a Saturday night – with her sister Sarah Woodman.

They usually start the night in Lloyds bar in Broad Street, but head for the nearest clubs after 1am – either Mode, Tramps, or Velvet, all run by the same company.

But on every occasion for the last few months, the two have queued only to be told they cannot go inside.

The last time it happened was New Year’s Eve.

They did manage to get in once to Mode, where Lisa Woodman says, according to one of the bouncers, she is never allowed in “because of what I am wearing”.

A MAN involved in the pest control business has claimed eating queen termites can boost the sexual prowess for men.

Metro Ahad reported Abdul Rahim Abu Bakar as saying queen termites had special properties similar to that of viagra.

He said the bug must be swallowed alive 15 minutes before the start of sexual activity for it to be effective.

“The effect is as if we are running in a marathon non-stop,” claimed the 45-year-old man, who said he started eating queen termites seven years ago.

Abdul Rahim claimed the price of a queen termite can be as high as between RM2,500 (USD$800) and RM5,000, depending on its size and colour.

He said that he once pocketed RM7,000 by selling three queen termites.

Well-known gynaecologist Datuk Dr Ismail Thamby, however, brushed off Abdul Rahim's claim as just a myth.

“If there is any effect, it is only psychological in nature because the person who eats it believes it works,” he said.

Dressed in skimpy bikinis, these Chinese women could be going for a day out at the beach.

But these trainees are in fact being put through a gruelling regime in Sanya, Hainan province, on the road to become female bodyguards.

Twenty women, most of them college graduates, were kicked, dunked, near-drowned and forced to carry a heavy log between them during a tough boot camp run by professional bodyguards on Sunday.

The four-week programme is run by trainers from Tianjiao Special Guard Consultant Ltd - the first open group training for female bodyguards in China.

Each trainee goes through 10 months of instruction to develop their skills in reconnaissance, anti-terrorism training, martial arts and business etiquette.

The best individual from the class is also invited to study further at the International Security Academy in Israel.

With the booming economy in China and increasing wealth sparked by high demand for Chinese goods and materials, demand for bodyguard services had risen dramatically on the Chinese mainland.

Graduates of bodyguard courses can look forward to a well-paid career if they are recruited by wealthy businessmen.

That is especially the case for women, because they are less visible than their male counterparts and because they can assume roles such as secretary or nanny, they are in high demand.

Female bodyguards are often paid far better than male counterparts - up to $100 a day - too because they can adopt different roles. The average annual wage in China is just $1,500.

"I couldn't believe I won it," said David Dopp, a Santaquin resident who won the car in a Maverik "Joe Schmo to Lambo" contest recently. This past Saturday, the car was given to him by the nonprofit organization teamgive during a ceremony at a Santaquin Maverick gas station.

"Yeah, I got it on Saturday and I wrecked it on Saturday," Dopp said, forcing a half smile. He was one of thousands to enter the contest. After Dopp received the keys to the car, he started giving lots of rides to family and friends. He also took a lot of pictures. "We ended up in a field, and I back-ended a couple of fence posts." The car also has a little front-end damage, a puncture in the wheel, and scratches all along the passenger side.

The car couldn't be driven, so Dopp called a towing company to pick it up. The good news in all of this is that Dopp had insurance on the car. It was one of the contest requirements before he could take the keys. "That's what insurance is for," he said. The car will be taken to a Las Vegas body shop Wednesday morning to be fixed. Dopp, who also won $5,000 worth of driving lessons at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele County, says he'll be more careful next time.

A student has been left feeling a little red-faced after an embarrassing incident with a monkey made her a global star.

Charmian Chen, who just happens to be a model, was visiting the Sacred Monkey Forest Ubud in Bali last month when two of the primates decided she was a little overdressed.

The 22-year-old student, from Taiwan, was on holiday on the tropical Indonesian island feeding long-tailed macaques when she was singled out.

The two macaques apparently spotted a piece of corn that had fallen down Ms Chen's top and decided they wanted it back.

Despite her valiant effors to fend it off, one monkey managed to pull down her top leaving the red-faced model to cover herself as best she could, with her hands.

But what should have been an amusing holiday wardrobe malfunction has ended up catapulting Ms Chen to internet superstardom.

Pictures of the incident have made headline news in her native Taiwan, with TV stations asking her to appear and talk about it.

The images have also spread around the globe, appearing on blog sites and forums in the U.S. and Britain.

Tattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald from Dayton, OH was hit with a $100,000 lawsuit last week by his ex-girlfriend Rossie Brovent. She claims that her boyfriend was supposed to tattoo a scene from Narnia on her back but instead tattooed an image of a pile of excrement with flies buzzing around it.

Apparently, Ryan found out that Rossie had cheated with a long-time friend of his, but instead of confronting her about it he acted like everything was normal and hatched a plan for revenge. Originally, Rossie tried to have Ryan charged with assault, but the ingenious tattoo artist had covered his bases by plying Rossie with wine and tequila shots and getting her to sign a consent form that stated the design was “at the artist’s discretion.”

No word from Rossie on whether the illicit night of passion with Ryan’s friend was worth it. Moral of the story? Never cheat on a tattoo artist.

Man who tattooed unwanted penis on another man's back is jailed

An amateur tattoo artist in Australia who drew an unwanted 40cm penis on another man's back has been jailed for three months. Ipswich District Court heard Matthew Francis Brady, 22, was asked by the victim to etch a Chinese Yin and Yang symbol with a dragon and tiger on his back.

But Brady instead inked the crude image and then bashed the victim when he was finished. Crown prosecutor Nici Schmitt said on the day in question, October 18 last year, at Ebbw Vale, Brady convinced the victim to go ahead with the tattoo. When the victim complained it was hurting, Brady insisted he keep going.

AN AMATEUR tattoo artist who drew an unwanted 40cm penis on another man's back will spend three months in jail for his actions.

The court heard Brady started drawing the circle for the Yin and Yang, which he then turned into testicles, a penis and a slogan implying the man was gay because Brady had taken offence to a comment the victim made. Brady told the victim to keep the tattoo covered for a few weeks but the man showed a friend and they contacted police. The court heard the victim had moved away because he was too scared to stay. A tattoo parlour later covered up the penis for free.

Brady pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm while armed, assault occasioning bodily harm and performing a high-risk service without holding an infection control qualification. Defence barrister John McInnes said Brady had a disadvantaged background. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended after three months, and three years probation.

A woman took to the streets Wednesday to find her lost Chihuahua, and she won't clothe herself or eat until the dog comes home.

Arlene Mossa Corona, a 20-year-old college student living in San Diego, Calif., spent the better part of last week on a hunger strike, dressed in a skimpy bikini on a street corner, in a desperate effort to find her lost Chihuahua, Chispita.

Though Corona still hasn't found her dog, she may have found herself a stalker.

Chispita disappeared from Corona's La Jolla apartment complex over a week ago. After a thorough search of the neighborhood and local animal shelters and a visit to a pet psychic turned up nothing, Corono perched herself at a busy intersection, wearing nothing but a bikini and high heels.

The petite, fit student thought the stunt would attract the attention of passerby, and that one of them might recognize Chipita from the large poster Corona held above her head. The sign included the message, "America is bringing home our troops for the holidays La Jolla/Please help me bring my dog home too!" Another sign at Corona's feet promised that she would not eat until Chispita came home.

Corona skipped her own family's Thanksgiving celebration to continue her campaign.

"She means everything to me," Corona told NBC San Diego of her dog. "She's all I have. She's like the only family I have over here."

Though Chispita still hasn't turned up, the controversial campaign has come to a halt after attracting the wrong kind of attention.

A man who identified himself as "Merl" contacted the desperate dog owner on Friday, claiming that his daughter had taken the Chihuahua. Corona was temporarily hopeful until she realized the man was seeking sexual favors: He emailed her a picture of a dog he said was Chispita, and then emailed her a photo of his genitals.

"I was like oh my God this is so scary, I was like shaking, and I was like maybe he really does have my dog, or maybe he's just a creep," Corona told NBC San Diego.

But Corona later concluded the dog in the photo was not hers.

Later Friday, Corona received another lead, which also turned out to be false -- and in all likelihood generated from the same person. Corona was on her way to meet someone who sent her a text message claiming a neighbor had her dog, when she found that the phone number provided went to the same voicemail as "Merl."

"This is turning into something that I didn't think it would," a tearful Corona told NBC San Diego.

Dog drives double-decker bus in Darwin

Phil Newton could not believe his eyes when he saw a dog driving a 20-tonne, double-decker bus through Darwin's industrial zone. "I thought, 'What the ... '!" he said. "This was weird, even for the Territory." Mr Newton, 30, said the dog was sitting in the driver's seat with its paws on the steering wheel.

He chased after the runaway bus, leapt through an open window and rammed on the handbrake. "It ran for a couple of hundred metres, swerved across the road, went up on the footpath and was just about to run into a parked car when I stopped it," he said. Woodley, a two-year-old German koolie, was unrepentant.

His owner, Richard McCormack, 62, said: "He sits next to me when I'm driving and in the driver's seat when I'm not. The handbrake is on the dashboard and he's seen me release it many times.He was just copying me. He's tried it on before." Mr McCormack parked his massive mobile home in Winnellie Rd, which runs down a slight hill, and popped into a yard to inquire about repair work.

United Arab Emirates winger Thiyab Awana has become an internet hit for scoring an audacious backheeled penalty for his country in a 7-2 victory over Lebanon.

But despite the convincing scoreline and the excitement around the goal, Awana has drawn criticism for the 'disrespectful' goal - including from his own coach.

The hosts were already leading 6-2 when Awana tucked away the spot-kick, but coach Srecko Katanec, who had only brought Awana on three minutes before, substituted him immediately afterwards.

"This penalty, I didn't like it. We must respect players from other teams. In future you don't know what football will give you back," Katanec said after the game.

A Lebanese team official saw red after a furious reaction to the penalty, but Lebanon coach Emile Rustom tried to defuse the incident afterwards.

AS the spring is setting in, a strange smell begins to permeate in the air in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province as locals are eating the seasonal "virgin egg."

Virgin eggs are actually eggs cooked in the urine of virgin boys. Most outsiders are appalled at the idea. But virgin eggs are selling well in every street corner of Dongyang. Costing 1.5 yuan each, they are often sold out, Qianjiang Evening News reported.

The bizarre custom is even touted as the city's intangible cultural heritage as Dongyang people say it has the taste of the spring.

These two weeks, schoolboys in Dongyang City need to pee into plastic barrels placed outside their classrooms, which are collected by nearby residents. Local teachers accepted the practice and even reminded the boys not to pee into the barrels if they are sick.

The Baby Gaga recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest, which is then freshly churned into ice cream.

Founder, Matt O'Connor from Hampshire is confident his take on the miracle of motherhood - priced at a cool £14 - will go down a treat with the paying public.

O' Connor said: "The Baby Gaga tastes creamy and rich. No-one's done anything interesting with ice cream in the last hundred years. We've came up with a method of infusing ice-cream with breast milk. We wanted to completely reinvent it. We want to change the way people think about ice cream. If it's good enough for our children it's good enough for the rest of us.

A new poll by ShopSmart magazine in the US has found that one in four women has their mood affected by wearing an ugly or ill-fitting pair of underwear.

The US nationwide poll found that nearly half of women (47 per cent) feel sexier or more confident wearing a nice or special pair of skivvies.

What's more, nearly one-quarter of women (21 per cent) vary their underwear selection depending on their mood and 12 per cent feel it is an important part of their outfit.

"What you wear under your clothes is just as important-maybe even more-as what you wear on the outside," said Lisa Lee Freeman, editor-in-chief of ShopSmart.

Another major finding from the poll, which surveyed 1,008 women aged 18 and older, is that the color of underwear is dependent upon the age of the wearer.

Women between the ages of 18 and 34 are more adventurous with their color choices: More than one-third (35 per cent) indicated a color, not a neutral, as their favorite pair and 12 per cent chose a print.

Meanwhile, almost two-thirds (65 per cent) of all women stick to neutral colors, with white (29 per cent) most popular followed by black (21 per cent) and beige (15 per cent). Green came in dead last (1 per cent).

In terms of preferred underwear styles, nearly half of women (46 per cent) cite the brief as the underwear style they wear most often, though women age 18 to 34 skew toward the bikini style.

When it comes to quantity, the poll found that on average, women own 21 pairs of underwear and 10 per cent own 35 pairs or more.

Last but not least, one in 10 women admit they will venture out of the house without underwear on at all.

This, in some cases, might be the better option for the one-quarter of women who have a pair of underwear they would be embarrassed for someone else to see.

They used to say - "only the Sun rises for free". Not anymore: in a move intended to expose the phony "extraterrestrial real estate" industry, a Spanish Woman "claimed" ownership of the Sun.

Angeles Duran, 49-year-old Spanish lady has claimed to be the owner of Sun. Woman from Spain's soggy region of Galicia said that she registered the star at a local notary public as being her property after learning about the American man, who registered moon and most planets in our solar system as his property.

Here is an international agreement, which states that no country may claim ownership of a planet or star, but it says nothing about individuals, she added.

"There was no snag, I backed my claim legally, I am not stupid, I know the law. I did it but anyone else could have done it, it simply occurred to me first," she told the online edition of Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo.

The document issued by the notary public declares Duran to be the "owner of the Sun, a star of spectral type G2, located in the center of the solar system, located at an average distance from Earth of about 149,600,000 kilometers," Barcelona News reports.

According to AFP, Duran said she now wants to slap a fee on everyone who uses the sun and give half of the proceeds to the Spanish government and 20 percent to the nation's pension fund.

She would dedicate another 10 percent to research, another 10 percent to ending world hunger -- and would keep the remaining 10 percent herself.

Robert John Burck, on his website nakedcowboy.com, has put the word out that he will be jumping in to the 2012 US presidential race.

Tourism chiefs at Ozrem in the north of the country are hoping that their annual testicle cooking competition will do for the region what whisky did for Scotland or cheese and chocolate did for Switzerland.

Festival organiser Ivo Mokovich said: "The importance of a recognisable brand to sell a region cannot be underestimated - look at how many people go to Scotland because of the whiskey or how many people know Switzerland because of their cheese and chocolate.

"We are now hoping that the many famous and varied testicle dishes that we have created in the region will become world-famous and attract people who appreciate good food from all over the world."

The now annual Testicle Cooking World Championship will take place this year for the seventh time and is open to cooks from all over the world - although organisers admit they rarely get anybody from abroad.

Mokovich said: "That is not such a surprise - after all it shows we are the best because nobody else is prepared to take up the challenge and to try and take the title of top testicle chef away from the Serbs."

The testicle cooking contest starts on 27 August with elimination heats leading through to the final three days later on 29 August.

World Cup octopus predicts next Russian president

One of Russia’s most popular newspapers said on Friday it had managed to get Paul, the oracle German octopus which accurately predicted the World Cup results to forecast who will be Russia’s next president.

But shhhhhh...Komsomolskaya Pravda said the results of Paul’s prediction for the 2012 presidential election have been sealed until election year.

The paper said one of its reporters approached Paul, who lives at the Sea Life attraction in the German city of Oberhausen and put two sheets of paper with the names of Russiam Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and President Dmitry Medvedev in front of the soothsaying invertebrate, which pointed to one of the names with a tentacle.

Since Medvedev replaced Putin as president in 2008, with the latter taking over the cabinet, it has been unclear who is the number one decision-maker in a country with a tradition of strong, individual rulers.

A recent poll conducted by Russia’s Levada-Center shows that 76 percent of respondents believe Putin is the country’s most influential person, while 67 percent see Medvedev as top leader.

Both politicians at some point said they were considering running for president in 2012. In April Medvedev said they would decide together who is going to run. Putin said in June they would talk about it closer to the election date.

Paul the octopus became famous for accurately predicting the outcome of Germany’s World Cup campaign and the World Cup final between Spain and The Netherlands.

Port officials have confiscated 26,000 euros, which they found inside a woman's bra as she arrived at the Port of Holyhead on a ferry from Dublin. The Romanian woman claimed to UK Border Agency staff that the money was from the sale of a business in Ireland. The money was concealed in 500 euro notes.

"Where we suspect cash may be linked with criminal activity, we have the power to seize it," said the agency. Officers had been carrying out checks at the ferry terminal on Anglesey.

In keeping with tradition, media outlets, companies, websites and other jokers came up with various April Fools’ hoaxes on Thursday that ranged from the ridiculous to the absurd.

Australian pen maker Artline was advertising a new product in newspapers and on its website www.artline.com.au — a pen that remembers everything you write. “Forget the worry of losing the shopping list or the scrap of paper with that vital name or number on it,” read the Artline advertisement. “You can download it all later — as you wrote it, or in the typeface of your choice.”

Last year on April 1 the company unveiled a pen with microchip tracking so no one could pinch it.

The website HowStuffWorks.com came up with the “twapler”, which is a “stapler that automatically sends a message via Bluetooth or WiFi to a Twitter feed detailing exactly what you’re stapling at any given moment”.

“Whether you’re joining together a research project, tax forms or your divorce papers, the Twapler will send out a message for eager tweeters to revel in.”

Australian broadcaster ABC put out a spoof interview with an injured David Beckham in which the former England soccer captain said he was set to join the Australian national team, the Socceroos, as assistant manager and lead them to World Cup glory in South Africa.

Residents of the small Australian town of Murwillumbah woke up to the news in local newspaper the Tweed Daily News that “Avatar” director James Cameron had scouted local rainforests as a location for a sequel to the box-office hit.

April Fools’ Day dates back centuries, but its origins remain unclear. A widespread theory is that it dates back to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar with the term April Fool applying to those who were still following the Julian Calendar.

By tradition in most countries, people can pull pranks before noon on April 1 in the name of April Fools’ Day but become the fool if they do it in the afternoon.

Daily Post reported on April 1, 2004 that Queen Elizabeth walked her pet dogs on a lottery shopping tour, with photos. Of course it was all made-up, and the photo a fake one too. British media has a tradition of reporting fake news on April Fools’ Day.
